This weekend (11/7-8) at the Tanglewood Learning Institute: Catch a book reading and live performance by BBS Artistic Director and violinist Eugene Drucker, presented in collaboration with Berkshire Bach Society (11/7). Last weekend (10/30-31), the Tanglewood Learning Institute (TLI) presented its TLI Close to Home series, featuring local musicians. On Friday (10/30), Berkshire-based bassist, composer, and bandleader Andy Wrba led a lively jazz concert with an all-star ensemble. Then (10/31), Tanglewood Music Center alumnus Yevgeny Kutik and Frank Corliss joined retired BSO musicians, Edwin Barker, Ronald Feldman, and Ed Gazouleas, to perform Schubert’s beloved Piano Quintet in A.

Join us in honoring the life of actor Patrick Stewart. From his iconic roles on screen to performances with the BSO on stage, his legacy lives on for generations to come.

This week (10/26-27), three former Tanglewood Music Center (TMC) Fellows and TMC Director Ed Gazouleas surprised the Berkshire County community with pop-up concerts. To brighten the day with the beauty of live music, they performed 20-minute concerts in non-traditional spaces for unsuspecting audiences.

This weekend at the Tanglewood Learning Institute (10/30-11/1): Berkshire-based bassist, composer, and bandleader Andy Wrba leads a jazz concert with an all-star ensemble (10/30). The following day (10/31), retired BSO musicians are joined by a Tanglewood Music Center alumnus to perform Schubert’s beloved Piano Quintet in A.
