Thankful to be able to welcome the faculty of West Caldwell High School back to school today with breakfast for their opening meetings.

This school and people associated with it, blessed me and my family so much, and it is only right to give a portion back.

I know this year will be great for the Warriors…. Some of the hardest working and most caring people I have ever met are on that faculty and great days are ahead!

In less than 2 weeks the students in Caldwell County Schools will once again walk through the doors for another fantastic year. This means that ALL Elementary and Middle School students will once again receive a folder provided by the NC Farm Bureau Agents in Caldwell County. I am blessed to work with great agents in the Lenoir and Hudson offices that give of their own money to sponsor these each year.

This morning it was an honor to deliver the folders to Collettsville, Gamewell Elementary, and Gamewell Middle Schools.

Hoping that every student, teacher, and staff member has a terrific year!

When describing these two young people the resounding words were “KINDNESS AND WILLINGNESS TO HELP OTHERS” from their teachers.

What an honor it was to once again present the Collettsville School Character Awards for this school year. The award was selected by teachers and what a joy it was to be associated with these two earlier today.

Congratulations to Charli Wood and Justin Bryant. Our future is in great hands because of young people like you.

I look forward to seeing how you continue to impact this community in the future!

Back in my element today, in front of a high school class. Thanks to Mr. Jon White for inviting me to West Caldwell High School to speak to Personal Finance Economics class.

It was a pleasure speaking to the young people about insurance and how it protects your assets and family. The students were great and had some great questions as they prepare to graduate and become more responsible for their futures.

Once again…….. we are blessed to have these future leaders on the rise!

It was an absolute joy and honor to be a guest on the Podcast ran by Caldwell County Early College today. The young ladies that had me on the show were super prepared and had terrific personalities. The show will be released in a few months but my day was made today by these great young people.
