Hey Everyone! As you may know La Michoacana Ice Cream has opened back up and we are so excited to share that we are doing a customer appreciation with them this coming Tuesday evening, April 14th. We will be out front from 5-7pm with tickets for a free single scoop to the first 200 customers. We want to give some ice cream to our wonderful customers and support one of our favorite local businesses!

A loss is never a fun thing, and we are so glad that the fire was responded to quickly and that they have been able to rebuild and open up so quickly. They have done an amazing job rebuilding and we are so excited that they are opening back up to serve this wonderful community. We have Moved! But not very far…. We are now at 101 E Depot Street, Lenoir City, TN 37771. We are still working on unpacking and setting up as we just moved yesterday, but we are up and running. Come see us for any insurance needs. As we get settled in and signs up we will post some pictures. What is cool is that we are back in the same space Graham and Cook started back in 1964.

Independent Insurance Agency CSR/Account Manager
Graham & Cook Insurance is a local independent insurance agency with a commitment to serving our clients with honesty and integrity. The agency opened in 1964 and has a strong focus on personal lines insurance such as auto, home, and life insurance along with small commercial/business insurance. We represent 20+ insurance carriers and are looking for a customer service representative that can help manage our continued growth. We have an immediate opening for a CSR/Account Manager for our Lenoir City, TN location.
Responsibilities:
• Build authentic relationships with new and existing clients
• Provide high-level customer service in a fast-paced, structured environment
• Answer incoming customer service calls in order to service and maintain existing accounts
• Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone for clients
• Offer and educate customers regarding insurance needs and provide estimates to the customer in order to increase or add coverage
• Research, analyze and respond to customer policy inquiries and changes, as well as explain specific coverage and billing questions
• Quote additional lines of insurance, prepare and complete insurance applications, as well as follow up on necessary information
• Work towards pre-defined individual performance objectives based on productivity and customer satisfaction
Qualifications: * 2+ years customer service experience in an independent agency preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Multi-tasking ability and exceptional organizational skills
• Detail-oriented
• Self-motivated
• Strong interpersonal skills, a team player, and the ability to empathize with customers
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Property & Casualty insurance license required (must be able to obtain)

It is with deep sadness we share that our beloved Mary Allen passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 09, 2024.

Mary joined Russell and Shields Insurance in 1980, transitioned with Tommy Cook and Chuck Graham into Graham & Cook Insurance in 1992, and to our current G&C family in 2017.

Mary was a seasoned insurance professional, a steady hand and stalwart while serving our customers in the local communities of Lenoir City and Farragut. We cannot possibly list the names of people she has served over the years, and her relationships consisted of more than insurance. Mary knew your family, and comforted people in times of need. She was faithful, loyal, and dedicated to our agency, a reliable member of our work family.

Tommy and Chuck retired 7 years ago, and we knew that without Mary we’d be in trouble. Her value and commitment are irreplaceable. Today will be a sad day when Graham & Cook Ins opens for the first time in 44 years without Mary Allen.

We trust the Lord and His plan for our lives. We’re at peace that Mary testified of her salvation in Jesus, so we are confident she is in Heaven with her Savior.

“There’s a peace I’ve come to know
Though my heart and flesh may fail;
There’s an anchor for my soul,
I can say, It is well.
There’s a day that’s drawing near,
When this darkness breaks to light.
And the shadows disappear
And my faith shall be my eyes.”

Hallelujah, Mary’s faith is now sight! We will miss her terribly; the sadness and void for her family and our agency is immeasurable. But Hallelujah, Mary is with Jesus, so we seek joy and find comfort in God’s grace and mercy.

Please join us in prayer for Mary’s loving family, her faithful friends, and the customers who for 40+ years were her extended family. She was dearly loved, and will never be forgotten.
