➡️ Individual/Family Deductible
➡️ Coinsurance
➡️ If I go to the emergency room, what will I owe?
➡️ Who is in my network?
➡️ Is there an Urgent Care copay or Teledoc?
We just did a consult with a potential customer and she was showing us her current option - a plan through her employer.
As many of you know, we will almost always tell someone to stick with a group plan (unless the price is way too high) if that's an option. In this case, we did exactly that, but we also took time to explain the plan. Here is how we explained it:
You will have the preventative care that would be covered at 100%. However, it appears everything else is going toward deductible: doctor visits, labs, xrays, etc.

She now knows HOW the plan works. This will help eliminate surprises and avoid frustrations.
A 10 minute conversation quickly explaining your coverage, how it works, how it doesn't, and a few examples of what do to when something comes up can save you thousands.
