A year ago, taking Fridays off felt impossible. Kenzie brought it up, Joey shrugged it off.

So what changed? It became too much, we were overwhelmed and heading towards burnout. It's been one of our best business decisions to date.

The whole team gets every Friday for our kids, our homes, and the stuff that makes us human. We show up Monday through Thursday as our very best selves.

And even though we only work four days a week, your needs & deadlines are ALWAYS met.

A super unflattering picture of our recent management team call, but I had to post it. (Sorry ladies).

I snapped this picture while sitting in this call, having what I can only describe as an out of body experience. There are moments (a lot, lately) that seem to embody the “quantum leap” feeling Kenzie and I have been having this year. Hiring a management team consisting of these ladies has literally changed my life. They give me the freedoms to dream big and dream crazy (my favorite place to be) and then help me refine, productize, systemize and deliver it.

Most importantly, we are having the most fun we’ve ever had while doing it.

I just want to say things like, somebody pinch me! How is this incredible company the one I get to work for every day?? How did we delude these women to work for us? How did I get here? How did I get so lucky? Kenzie and I call each other daily and say things like, look what we did! Look what we are doing! This is amazing!

I’m having the time of my life and these women + our incredible clients, are the reason.

Simply put: Thank you. All of you. 🧡

You know you shouldn’t co-mingle but it feels so inconvenient to remember which card you are using in the moment.

But bad financial decisions and a lack of asset protection are, unfortunately, much more inconvenient.

Now you know why every accountant on earth wants you to quit co-mingling. It’s not because we hate you. It’s because we want to protect you!
