🚨 The end of An Era! 🚨

The Federal Reserve just wrapped up their latest meeting, and as expected, they’ve kept interest rates at the 3.5% range. But the real story isn’t just the rates—it’s the end of an era.
- Jerome Powell’s final meeting as Chair. For homebuyers and investors, this marks a massive transition. Powell is leaving us in a ‘holding pattern’ due to global uncertainty, meaning we don’t know if we’ll see rate cuts this year.

What’s next? Kevin Warsh will take over in May as the incoming Chair. While the Fed is playing it safe for now, a change in leadership can brings a change in strategy. If you’re waiting for a sign to move, stability is your green light.

Markets are currently planning on zero rate cuts for the remainder of 2026. For buyers, this means “marrying the house and dating the rate” is still a good strategy, as waiting for a drop might take another 12 months.
