What a fantastic day at the Back-to-School Bash at Prien Lake Mall! Our local GEICO office on Nelson Road was proud to be a part of such a wonderful community event.

We handed out colored pencils with sharpeners, pencils, rulers, bags, and Gecko hand fans—and the biggest hit of the day was, of course, the GEICO Gecko! Kids and families loved taking pictures with him and even dancing along.

We were thrilled to see such an amazing turnout, and by the end of the event, every single school supply had found a new home! It was truly a pleasure to help students get ready for the new school year.

Wishing all of our students a safe, successful, and exciting school year ahead. Here’s to a great start and an even greater year! 📚✏️🦎💚

Our local GEICO office in Lake Charles set up shop at “The Reserve at Country Club” apartments. We brought Jimmy John sandwiches, chips, cookies and water. The staff at the Reserves were so friendly and we met so many wonderful tenants that didn’t realize what Renters insurance was all about. We did quotes and explained that the apartment building insurance only covers the building and not their belongings inside. So don’t be caught off guard if another hurricane, fire, theft, weather storm comes in and your left with nothing. Get your renters insurance today and have that peace of mind. Our Leesville local GEICO office showed up with watermelon and cookies to help hydrate and treat the Leesville High School football players. After a hard practice on this hot evening, they were happy to bite into some cool sugartown watermelons! 🍉 Thank you to Jennifer Stevens for treating the players! Geaux Wampus Cats!

It was delightful to see the children and families enjoying themselves. Our local GEICO office sponsored the Military Spouse Appreciation event. The theme was Kentucky derby, 🐎 it was so wonderful to see all the spouses with their hats and dresses on👒 despite all the rain we had this morning.
We truly do appreciate our Military and their spouses and thank them for their service!

Our local GEICO office owned by Jennifer Stevens was proud to sponsor The Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce second annual Women in Business Luncheon, and it was nothing short of incredible. With more than 150 women in attendance, the room was filled with energy, encouragement, and connection.

The theme was “Kentucky derby” and it was wonderful to see everyone dressed up in their hats and beautiful dresses. The chamber did a beautiful job in decorating and hosting, our hats go off to them! The food was amazing (by Deep South catering) and the guest speaker Dr. Geralyn Janice was very inspiring.
A big shout out to Linda Cole for being the recipient of the 2026 Anne Causey women in business award, she is so deserving of this award. 👏
We are already looking forward to next year!

Our Local GEICO Exclusive Agency office set up a booth at the Annual Snowflake Festival held at the Ft. Polk Bowling Alley.
The gecko was a big hit, along with the stuffed gecko’s, Christmas ornaments & popcorn that we handed out to everyone that visited us!
We are so proud to continue supporting our military families & we are so grateful for their service!
May you all have a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year in 2026!

Trunk or treat 2025 at Pickering school was a great turnout! WOW, so many people, it keeps growing and growing.
We loved seeing all the kiddos in their Halloween costumes and they absolutely loved taking their pics with the Gecko! 🦎
