Today we celebrate the 5 Yr Anniversary of State Farm – Cynthia Michitsch Agency!

We opened the office July 1, 2021, with zero people in our book and zero experience working in an insurance agency. What we did have was decades of experience in customer service and insurance licenses to get us started. My mom was customer #1 😊

Five years later, we’ve worked with thousands of people. We’ve helped folks get insurance for their cars, their teenager's car, their first home, their vacation home, their business, their life and the unexpected illness that qualified them for supplemental Medicare. We’ve celebrated new babies, new partnerships, high school graduations, college graduations and marriages. We’ve also assisted in downsizing, move outs and the loss of a loved one.

Through it all, we’ve seen one thing come up over and over. Insurance is about people. Taking care of people, that’s what we do. The afternoon when a customer cried in the office after we told her she was not responsible for a parking lot incident, said it all. No matter how big or small something may seem to us, what matters is how it seems to our customers. How we show up for them as their good neighbor is what counts.

Thank you to State Farm for this opportunity, helping us to understand and become a Good Neighbor. Thank you to my family and their support for these past five new years. BIG thank you to Kelly and Carol who’ve been THE team since day one. Thank you so much to the customers who’ve trusted us to support them, especially when we were still figuring it out. We are better for having you with us.
