Your books aren't going to fix themselves. (Trust me, I've waited β€” they don't.)

The contact form in my bio takes just a few minutes to fill out. Your future self β€” the one who actually knows their numbers β€” will thank you!

Brace yourself for a hot take 🌢️
The number one reason small business owners hire me isn't because they can't figure out bookkeeping. Most of them could figure it out β€” it's not rocket science.

The real reason? I hear it constantly:
"My time is better spent actually running my business."

Or the equally valid:
"I am not spending my one free Saturday doing this."

And honestly? Both are correct answers.

Bookkeeping being below your pay grade doesn't mean it's not critical to your business. It just means you shouldn't be the one doing it.

That's where I come in. You stay in your zone of genius, I keep your books clean and your numbers trustworthy β€” and nobody spends their weekend in QuickBooks.

Sounds like a win. Let's chat!

You might be asking a little too much of Google Sheets 😬

It's time to tag QuickBooks in if you actually want:
β†’ Bank accounts that sync your transactions automatically
β†’ Customizable reports you can compare to prior periods
β†’ Contractor payments and 1099 filings in one place
β†’ Branded invoices, time tracking, inventory β€” the works

Your spreadsheet is exhausted. It tried its best.

I'll get your business set up in QuickBooks and everything transferred over so the transition is actually painless.

Traveled for work this spring? Your receipts are trying to save you money β€” don't throw them away ↓
βœ”οΈ Flights, trains, rideshares, rental cars
βœ”οΈ Hotels, Airbnbs, Vrbos
βœ”οΈ Parking + tolls
βœ”οΈ Meals on the road
βœ”οΈ Conference fees + tickets
βœ”οΈ Even the $8 WiFi on the plane

The rule is simple: when in doubt, save it. Sorting out what actually counts toward lowering your tax bill? That's my job.

Drop everything in a folder and let's figure out what's worth keeping!

Sliding into my DMs with questions? Love it. Let's clear a few things up ↓

Do I do taxes? Hard no.

Do I have a rolodex of accountants I trust with my actual clients and would recommend without hesitation? Absolutely!

Now, 1099s? That I can help with!

On top of keeping your books clean and current all year long, I handle 1099 filings for most of my clients every January β€” because why make your life harder than it needs to be?

Clean books and 1099s handled. You're welcome 🀎

I'm kind of a small business owner whisperer. Your books talk β€” and I listen.

Sometimes they tell a great story. Sometimes they rat you out on that thing you've been "meaning to get to" since November.

I've seen it all. The uncategorized transactions stacking up. The account that hasn't been reconciled since the last administration. The receipts living in a shoebox with hopes and dreams.

No judgment. Ever.

But here's what I will tell you: bookkeeping problems don't age well. The longer they sit, the messier and more expensive they get to fix β€” and I genuinely don't want that for you.

If your books have been trying to tell you something, maybe it's time to listen. Link in bio πŸ‘€

If I had a dollar for every time a small business owner asked me "can I deduct this meal?"... I'd never have to pay for dinner again.

And honestly? That question deserves more than a yes or no β€” because meals are one of those deductions that can go sideways fast if you're not careful.

Here's the short version: business meals can be deductible, but the IRS has opinions. Strong ones. You need a legitimate business purpose, the right people at the table, and documentation that actually holds up β€” not just a crumpled receipt and good intentions.

The last thing you want is to hand the IRS a reason to look closer at your books. A sketchy meal deduction is exactly the kind of thing that opens that door.
So before you write off date night as a "client dinner"... let's talk πŸ‘€

Not sure what's legit and what's pushing it? I break down the stuff your accountant assumes you already know. Follow along so you don't miss it.

Tax season has a special talent for exposing every crack in your bookkeeping.

Behind on your books? Congratulations β€” now tax season is even less fun than usual.

Your return gets extended. Your CPA hands you an invoice with a line item that just says "reviewing chaos." And somewhere in that pile of receipts and half-remembered expenses, you're pretty sure you missed write-offs β€” you just can't prove it.

This is exactly what I fix.

I get small business owners' books cleaned up, caught up, and running smoothly going forward β€” so that next April, you're not white-knuckling it through another extension.

If tax season just humbled you, the link in my bio is waiting 😏

Balance sheets are almost always overlooked by small business owners...

Which is kind of a big deal because your balance sheet (let's call it the BS, because ironically, that's exactly what it can hide) is where the real skeletons live. And if you're not checking it regularly, you're basically leaving the door wide open for chaos.

Within the first five minutes of digging into a small business owner's balance sheet, I'm already finding gems.

Here's the cold, hard truth: most small business owners are married to their P&L. They live there. They breathe there. They make every major decision from there.
And meanwhile, their balance sheet is in the back room, collecting dust, silently screaming.

Your P&L tells you how the business is performing. Your balance sheet tells you if your books are actually telling the truth.

Ignoring it isn't just risky β€” it's the financial equivalent of checking your mirrors but never looking at the road.

Fill out the contact form in my bio and let's dig into your balance sheet together β€” because what you don't know is hurting you.

Not sure if your bookkeeper is actually keeping up with your books? Here's how to tell ↓

βœ”οΈ Your accounts are being reconciled every single month. You can actually check this yourself by running a reconciliation report in QuickBooks β€” and honestly, you should. Trust but verify

βœ”οΈ You have zero uncategorized expenses sitting in your books. None. At least not from any month your bookkeeper was supposed to have finished. Uncategorized transactions aren't just messy β€” they mean your reports aren't accurate.

βœ”οΈ You're getting an updated P&L and balance sheet every month without having to chase anyone down for it. If you're sending follow-up emails just to see your own numbers, that's a problem.

A good bookkeeper doesn't just exist in the background hoping you don't ask questions. They keep you informed, keep your books clean, and make it easy for you to actually understand what's going on in your business.

And if you're one of my clients? All you have to do is ask and I'll tell you exactly what I've been doing in your books β€” no vague answers, no runaround.
