We want to take a moment to inform our valued business customers of some recent activity in hopes that you and your staff remain diligent in your efforts to protect your business and its assets. It has been brought to our attention that multiple business customers of Blue Ridge Bank and Trust have received phone calls that seem to be legitimate calls from us where someone is impersonating a staff member from BRB – our name and phone number even appear on the caller ID – but the caller requests sensitive information about their accounts. WE WILL NEVER DO THIS. These calls are 100% fraudulent! Please be aware!

Just a reminder: Blue Ridge Bank and Trust will NEVER contact an account holder and ask for the following:
• Username
• Password
• Account number
• Debit or credit card number
• Personal Identification Number (PIN)
• Social Security Number
