Wise word from the LS Fire Department.

With the dry conditions, not using fireworks may be the safer thing to do. But if you do use them, remember to have plenty of space and have a bucket of water or hose ready.
Afterward, be courteous and clean up your mess. Place debris in a separate container and wet it down. Please do not put it in the regular trash or the garage. You don't want a garage fire due to improperly discarded fireworks. And a reminder from Public Works, please do not sweep debris into the storm drains.
