This year Fort Osage is hosting a Back to School Bash ππβοΈ
With that said if you have any capacity to donate or volunteer in anyway we would LOVE and APPRECIATE ANY additional support.
Here are a few ways you can help out:
* Adopt a student's school supply list for $45-$65
* Donate any amount directly to Bright Futures towards the back to school bash
* Purchase school supplies directly from the amazon wish list
* If your business would like to sponsor an activity like a fun game, face painting, or a resource for students we are still looking for sponsorship opportunities and day of volunteers.
With that said, I know that a lot of families are struggling this year. If you or anyone you know has kids in the Fort Osage District that needs assistance please help spread the word about our event and the resources available. Please note at this time we only have the capacity to support students enrolled in the Fort Osage District.
Some of the resources will include:
* a community shuttle to and from the event for those who need transportation
* free hygiene items
* school supplies - on a sign up basis
* free sack lunches
* free clothes for families
* free shoes and socks while supplies last
* haircuts
* vouchers with the health department
* coats for families
* free and reduced lunch sign up and help
* free food bags for families
* free sports physicals and screenings
Please note:
Assistance will be provided on a first come, first served basis.
A separate form must be completed for each child needing assistance.
Students attending Woodland Early Childhood Center or the Career and Technology Center do not need school supplies and do not need to complete this form.
Students attending Fort Osage High School will be given basic supplies to begin the school year.
You can sign up for supplies at https://forms.gle/8PqGkeR3GmbinzFa7 OR CONTACT YOUR SCHOOL****Please note signing up does not guarantee support, you will receive confirmation from our team if we are able to assist your child***** If you have any questions, please contact Stephanie Smith at [email protected] or 816-650-7019.
