🎃👻 Halloween Safety Tips from LSPD! 👻🎃
Costumes, candy, and spooky fun are what Halloween is all about, but safety comes first! Be prepared for the big night coming up!🦇
🕸 Drivers: Slow down, watch for children, and stay alert in neighborhoods. Put your phone down and NEVER drive impaired.
🍬 Trick-or-Treaters: Use sidewalks and crosswalks, look both ways before crossing, and never dart between parked cars.
🔦 Be Visible: Carry a flashlight or glow stick, and add reflective material to costumes. Make sure masks don’t block vision.
🏠 Stick Together: Children should trick-or-treat with a trusted adult, stay in familiar areas, and never enter a stranger’s home.
🍭 Check the Candy: Parents should inspect treats before children dig in. Avoid anything unwrapped or suspicious.
🎭 Costume Check: Choose costumes that fit properly to prevent trips and falls, and use face paint instead of masks when possible.
Let’s keep Halloween FUN, SAFE, and SPOOKY! 🎃🚔
