Scholarship Opportunity (3/3)!

2022 BCMW COMMUNITY SERVICES SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM!

BCMW Community Services if offering 5 $1,000.00 scholarships for the 2022-2023 academic year to low-income students desiring to further their education at a two-year community college, vocational school, or four-year college or university. The scholarships are made possible through the Community Service Block Grant Program which is funded by the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity. Award recipients may use their scholarships for educational expenses and payments will be sent directly to the schools. BCMW Community Services encourages all potentially eligible applicants to enter this scholarship competition.

All applications must be returned to BCMW, 808 E. Rexford, P.O. Box 729, Centralia, Il 62801 by 3:00pm on Thursday March 31, 2022.

Eligibility criteria:
1. Must be a resident of Bond, Clinton, Marion, or Washington County.
2. Must have a high school diploma of GED.
3. Must be enrolled as a full-time student (12+ credit hours) at an accredited 2 or 4 year college, university, or vocational training program.
4. Must maintain at least a c average: 2.0 on a 4.0 scale, 3.0 on a 5.0 scale.
5. Must demonstrate a commitment to career goals.
6. Must have financial need whereby total household income before taxes.

Scholarship Opportunity (2/3)!

Anderson Hospital Medical Staff Scholarship:
At least 3 students will be selected for a $1,000.00 scholarship to be applied toward education expenses (tuition, books, and fees). The selected students must be legal residents of the state of Illinois and reside in either Madison or St. Clair County.

To be eligible for consideration, students must be enrolled at least half-time, in a health occupational program at an accredited college or university. Applicants must provide proof of acceptance into a program preparing them for a health-related occupation and/or completion of a health-related degree.

The executive committee of the Anderson Hospital Medical Staff will make student selections annually. Before previous winners are considered for another award, a check of remaining funds should be made to ascertain the balance at the college, and need of money to complete the program. All information provided will be held strictly confidential.

Requirements:
1. Fill out the application.
2. Submit copies of your high school and/or college transcripts and current federal income tax return.
3. Submit a letter stating why you wish to receive the Anderson Hospital Medical Staff Scholarship and how you plan to use the funds.
5. Grade Point Average Requirement- minimum of 3.0 on a 4.0 grading system.
6. Mail all of the above by June 4, 2022 to:

Scholarship Opportunity (1/3)!

Anderson Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship:
Student will be grants a $1,000.00 scholarship to be applied toward educational expenses (tuition, books, and fees). These students must be legal residents of the state of Illinois and reside in Madison, St. Clair, or adjacent counties. All Anderson Hospital employees, however, qualify regardless of place of residence.

To be eligible for consideration, students must be enrolled at least half-time in a health occupation program at an accredited college or university.

Each applicant must provide proof of acceptance into a program preparing them for a health-related occupation and/or completion of a health-related degree.

Student selections will be made annually by the Auxiliary Scholarship Committe. Previous winners will also be considered.

If the recipient's course of study is changed from a health-related occupation, or if he/she/they withdraws from school, all funds remaining in the account must be returned to the Auxiliary.

All information provided will be strictly confidential. Please ensure that you have completed all application pages (front and back). A checklist can be found in the application packet, which you can pick up from our office.

- Must be enrolled full-time for the next academic year (both semesters) for which the scholarship is given in order to receive the full amount of the scholarship.

Scholarships will be awarded by June 15, 2022

Zonta Club of Mascoutah is accepting applications for their Zonta International Scholarship. All requested information must be received no later than April 7, 2022.

Students of McKendree University are cordially invited to apply for the “Marion L. Stevens” Memorial Scholarship funded by Federally Employed Women (FEW) Mid America Chapter. One student meeting the eligibility criteria will be selected.

Student Eligibility criteria:
1. Must be a member of Federally Employed Women (FEW); a Federal civilian employee; a military employee of Scott AFB or a family member of any of the aforementioned groups; a current student intern.
2. Applicants must be enrolled in undergraduate classes
