And most importantly congratulations go to our students who have won scholarships. First winning the 5 local high school scholarships were Addison Jones, Andrew Mattingly, Klaire Benningfield, Alyssa Welch and Gabriel Mullins. We also have 2 young ladies who won the Farm Bureau Education scholarships - Piper and Phebe Jones.

Locally we also award one scholarship to a college students. This year's winner is Brady Elder. Brady also won the Wendell E Howard scholarship from Kentucky Farm Bureau.

Several from Marion County participated in this year's "Clays For A Cause" which raised a record-setting $401,750 in charitable donations to support the fight against food and housing insecurity in Kentucky. Among those participating were Timmy Jones, Trevor Sweet, Cody Rakes and Chase Brown.

The 1st annual Farm Home and Garden Show at the Marion County Sports Complex was very successful with a lot of different vendors. Marion County Farm Bureau was proud to advocate agriculture by supporting the Petting Zoo, and teaching children how to make butter and flour from farm products.
