A reported burglary in Harrison Township resulted in the arrest of a man who allegedly forced entry into a home while accompanied by his young child.

On February 28, 2026, deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a residence in Harrison Township on a report of a residential burglary. The homeowner told deputies she was upstairs when she heard a loud noise. When she went downstairs to investigate, she discovered her daughter's ex-boyfriend, Travis Hall, had allegedly forced his way into the residence through the front entry door. Hall had his one-year-old son with him at the time.

The homeowner told Hall that her daughter was not home and questioned why he was inside the residence. Hall then exited the home, and the homeowner immediately contacted the Sheriff's Office.

Deputies located Hall walking in the area a short time later. When deputies attempted to stop him, he continued walking away and refused commands to stop. Deputies attempted to detain him, at which point he began to resist. After multiple taser deployments, deputies were able to secure Hall in handcuffs.

Charges were reviewed and approved by the Montgomery County Prosecutor's Office. Hall is facing charges of Trespass in a Habitation (Person Present or Likely to be Present), Obstructing Official Business, and Child Endangerment.

Hall remains in custody at the Montgomery County Jail.
