Happy Veteran's Day! Had the unique opportunity to team up with USU Football and Cache Valley Veteran's Center to honor our local Veteran Paul Lamont! I got to sit down with Paul and listen to some great stories. Paul is a Vietnam Veteran who loves the Aggies. He served in the USU Police Department for 13 years as a fire marshal. He owned the A&W that used to be found on Main street in Logan. The Big Blue Special was a valley favorite for decades. His wife wanted to name it the Paul Bunyan after Paul but he wanted to keep it tied to the university and the community so he called it the Big Blue Special. Paul is currently beating stage 4 cancer and this recognition will help continue his positive spirits in fighting it. USU Athletics donated some awesome Utah State gear and a couple tickets to tomorrow night's game! Thanks to Austin Albrecht and the boys for coming and recognizing Paul and thanks for Cache Valley Veteran's Center and the good work they are doing there to help Veterans around the valley and beyond! Thanks you for your service to all the Veteran's everywhere and for the sacrifices you and your families make day in and day out! God bless!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
