Brandi Kap- Loan Processor
Brandi has been with Academy for nine and a half years! Brandi graduated in 2011 from Weber State University with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in forensics. With her major not toward business, she laughs at how she ended up with Academy saying, “I had a family friend reach out to me and said he knew someone that needed an assistant and that the job would be fairly simple. I figured it would be great and that It would give me the opportunity to look for my dream job. I guess after being with Academy for the last nine-and-a-half years this was my dream job.” Brandi’s favorite thing about working for Academy is the work family and the work environment at the Layton Branch. When not working, you’ll find Brandi off to the races at rodeos where she competes in barrel races, breakaway roping, and goat tying. Asides from that, she helps out on her family’s farm, and hunts and farms in the mountains. “The running joke in the office is that my full-time job is everything that I do outside of work… I get to sit in a comfy office chair and have A/C while in the office.”
