Scam artists have been known to impersonate loved ones, tricking older adults into providing financial information or sending money to an unknown account. Always ask questions that only your loved one can answer or call your family member back at a number that you know to be legitimate.

One of the things I admire most about working with high‑net‑worth families is how thoughtfully they approach giving.

In my latest article, I share key lessons learned from the ultra‑wealthy on charitable giving and why strategy matters just as much as generosity.

One of my purposes in life is to help clients amplify their charitable impact and support the causes closest to their hearts. It is truly one of the most meaningful parts of what I do.

One of the most consequential relationships a business owner will manage is the relationship with their C‑suite.

Hiring strong executives is only the first step. Equally important is how owners think about leading and managing senior leaders: setting clarity, creating alignment, and establishing the conditions for sound decision‑making at the top of the organization.

In this article, I walk through four areas business owners often benefit from examining more closely:

1. What to look for in C‑suite executives
2. The challenges in managing C‑level leaders
3. How to set the tone as a leader
4. A few questions to ask

At its best, executive leadership becomes a true partnership: one that strengthens the owner’s thinking, elevates the team, and builds a more durable organization over time.

Death is the one certainty we all share yet estate planning remains one of the most delayed conversations.

I speak with clients regularly about the importance of having a well thought out estate plan. One critical decision that shouldn't get overlooked is choosing the right executor. The wrong choice can create stress, delays, and unintended consequences for the people you care about most.

I’ve attached an article that outlines key considerations when selecting an executor and why this decision matters more than most realize.

Planning ahead isn’t morbid...it's responsible.

Research shows that the most successful people aren’t the ones who try to do everything; they’re the ones who lean into what they do best, spend time sharpening those strengths, and confidently delegate the rest.

And here’s a reminder many of us need to hear:
Just because you can do it… doesn’t mean you should.

This week, I’m sharing a few tips on how to focus your energy where it matters most and why this shift creates more clarity, impact, and joy in your work.

Here’s to working with purpose, leading with intention, and building success that’s meaningful and sustainable. 🚀

This week’s share is a personal one!

Early in my marriage, an elder pulled me aside and offered a piece of wisdom I’ll never forget: “Drop the word step so you can truly step up.”

Removing that title from how I referred to our oldest child became one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It challenged me to show up with full ownership, full commitment, and a full heart as we built our blended family. It hasn’t always been perfect, but it has been intentional. And intentionality is everything.

Today, I’m sharing Eight Ideas for Building a Blended Family for anyone navigating blended family life or simply looking to strengthen the bonds at home.
Because titles don’t build families… actions do!

For those in blended families: whether supporting one, growing up in one, or building one; please share a piece of advice have you received that helped you. You never know who it may help!
