I got these texts last week…
“I’m running around! I’m so excited I’m buying a home!!”
“I couldn’t have done it without you!”
These messages came from first-time buyers I’ve been working with for months. Here’s the thing people don’t realize about buying a home…There’s no “one path.” Every single person I work with gets there a different way:
🏡 The young couple who thought they needed 20% down (they didn’t, we got them in with only 3% down).
🎖️ The veteran who didn’t know what programs and resources he had access to. (we were able to get his family into a home with $0 down.)
🌾 The family who found a place just outside city limits and had no idea USDA financing existed. (100% financing, no down payment required.)
🔑 The renter who was convinced their credit wasn’t “good enough”. (a few months of the right guidance and a down payment assistance program later, they had keys in hand.)
None of these people walked in the door thinking homeownership was possible right now. That’s the part I love most, showing folks the path they didn’t know was there.
