It has come to our attention that some of our members have received suspicious phone calls that appear on caller ID as coming from an Employee Resources Credit Union phone number. The scammers on this call claim to be members of our fraud department and proceed to ask for confidential card information

These calls are NOT authentic calls from ERCU!

This method of fraud is called “spoofing” and allows scammers to make their calls look like they are originating from our genuine phone number. This is a common tactic used by fraudsters nationwide and is not the result of any data breach or compromise at ERCU.

If you receive an unexpected call that appears to be from us and the caller pressures you for personal or account information, hang up immediately and call us back directly using the official number (931) 766-9288 or one of our branch numbers found on our website: www.ercu.org/about-us-branches-and-atms/ . As a reminder, please note that ERCU does not employee any overseas call centers. Our contact center is located in Lawrenceburg, TN, where most of our representatives sport a genuine southern accent.
