Preston and I had a BUSY Christmas week! It started out on Monday with an evening in Allen Fieldhouse! Preston got hooked up with a cool little floor pass before the game and he was stoked about that.
Then came Christmas and idk how this happened, but Santa must’ve thought Preston was more nice than naughty! 🤷‍♂️😂 He got some subs he’d been wanting as well as a tool set he’s had his eyes on for awhile thanks to Uncle Bryan.
Then on Christmas night, we were once again GIFTED tickets to the Broncos vs Chiefs game! The seats were great and although the game was closer than expected, the Broncos got the dub and Preston saw his first in person Broncos win!
Then on Saturday and took him and his girlfriend out to lunch at Chili’s and we went and saw the new ‘Avatar’ movie afterwards.
A GREAT week that was light on work and big on memories! Memories which I hope will last a lifetime! I’ve been fortunate enough to be around some good people and have worked hard the last 5 years to help build our business slowly but surely. Merry Christmas 🎄 and THANK YOU to everyone for a wonderful 2025.
Be on the lookout for even bigger and better things in 2026!

On this day 25 years ago, you left this place. I am so grateful for being there the last days and especially the last moments of your life. I’ll never forget it. You hung on for so long, but minutes after 2 phone calls, one with your mom, the other with your granddaughter, you were finally ready to go.
It’s extraordinarily hard to believe that when I wake up tomorrow I will have spent more time on this planet without you in my life than with you.
I certainly could’ve used your wisdom over the years. I thought I handled your death pretty well. Looking back, I did not. I did pretty much the opposite of what you had taught me. I thought I was letting you down with all my mistakes. It turns out, you were just teaching me from beyond. I’ve righted the ship the last 6 years or so but I still have a lot left to undo though. I’m not done, not even close.
I love you, Dad! ❤️❤️ You were Breeziest so*******ch I’ve ever known! THANK YOU for looking down on me and never giving up on me. You’ve always given me the strength to carry on even when I didn’t want to. Please do the same for Preston. We love you and I will carry on your memory with me and share it with him always.

It is officially fall now which means it’s also ANOC season! And ANOC season is important! Let’s talk all thing ANOC in this edition of !
If you are on a Medicare Advantage plan or a Part D prescription drug plan, your Annual Notice of Change (ANOC) is arriving soon. This letter tells you what’s changing for next year — things like premiums, copays, drug coverage, provider networks, and even extra benefits like dental or vision.

Here’s why it matters:
✅ Your prescription drugs could be dropped from the formulary.
✅ Your specialist or preferred doctor may no longer be in network.
✅ Your copays or deductibles could increase without you realizing it.

If you don’t review your ANOC, these changes can come back to bite you — in the form of higher out-of-pocket costs or losing access to the doctors and medications you count on.

That’s where I come in. Instead of wading through the fine print or calling your insurance company, or even worse, Medicare, give me a call! At ZERO cost to you, I’ll review your coverage with you, explain what’s changing, and make sure you still have the plan that best fits your needs.

📆 The Medicare Annual Enrollment Period runs Oct. 15 – Dec. 7. Don’t wait until it’s too late — reach out to me today so we can make sure your plan is ready for the year ahead!

Happy !
I came across this article I’ve linked here recently and today I want to discuss the renewed interest in income products in retirement and the reason behind it.
There is a substantial and growing interest in lifetime income/guaranteed income among clients, plan sponsors, and insurers. Why is this? Here are 4 reasons why people are implementing guaranteed income products into their retirement plan:

1. Longevity risk – People are living longer and worry about outliving savings.
2. Market volatility & inflation – Uncertainty makes guaranteed income more attractive.
3. Higher interest rates – Today’s rates make income guarantees more competitive.
4. Peace of mind – Many prefer stability over taking on all the retirement risk themselves.

So if you are interested in taking advantage of these higher interest rates and giving yourself some peace of mind by reducing your overall asset risk, give me a call to make sure one is right for you!

Total annuity sales posted $432.4 billion in 2024, up 12% year over year, according to preliminary results from LIMRA’s U.S. Individual Annuity Sales Survey, which represents 83% of the U.S. annuity market. This is the third year of record-high annuity sales.

🚨 Lawrence Friends: Breaking News 🚨

Hallmark, a longstanding company here in LFK, is dropping dental & vision coverage for retirees effective 1/1/2026. 😳

The good news? You don’t have to go without! 👓🦷

In addition to Medicare and Retirement, we have helped many Hallmark retirees find affordable dental & vision plans that fit their needs (and budget).

If you are losing coverage—or know someone who is—let’s connect. I make the process simple, so you can keep smiling with confidence. 😁

With the Annual Election Period coming up next month , a lot of folks shoukd be reviewing their Medicare Advantage plans. When they review those this year, they will notice that their In Hospital Copays increasing. So in this edition of , I want to discuss Hospital Benefit (Indemnity) plans.

Why Pair a Hospital Indemnity Plan with Your Medicare Advantage Plan?

Medicare Advantage (MA) plans are a great way to bundle your Medicare benefits into one easy-to-manage plan, often with low monthly premiums. But what many people don’t realize is that MA plans typically require daily copays if you’re admitted to the hospital. Depending on how long you stay, these costs can add up quickly.
That’s where a hospital indemnity plan comes in. Think of it as a financial safety net. A hospital indemnity plan pays you a set cash benefit for each day you’re in the hospital. You can use this money however you need—whether it’s to cover your copays, pay for extra household help, or even keep up with everyday bills while you recover.
Three key reasons to consider pairing them:
1. Helps cover out-of-pocket costs that your Medicare Advantage plan doesn’t fully take care of.
2. Provides financial flexibility since benefits are paid directly to you, not the hospital.
3. Affordable peace of mind—the cost of a hospital indemnity plan is often much less than a single hospital stay copay.
If you are enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan, adding hospital indemnity coverage can help you avoid unexpected financial strain and give you confidence that you’re truly covered.
If you think that a plan like this could benefit you, please let me know! In addition, if you don’t have someone who is knowledgeable about the changes coming to Medicare Advantage plans for 2026, let me be your guide! 785-766-2974
