NUMBER OF THE WEEK: $18.3 million - What would actually happen if Darth Vader came to life? It turns out it’d cost $18.3 million just to make a Darth Vader suit.

🚀$12 million of that comes from the base suit, because withstanding exposure to space isn’t cheap. Much like an astronaut, Vader would have to be prepared for non-earthly conditions.

🚀Another high cost: prosthetic limbs. In Revenge of the Sith, Anakin Skywalker loses his arm and legs. By the next movie, he was able to move normally. Maintaining those prosthetics would cost a whopping $5.4 million.

🚀 Darth Vader is most famous for his voice. Surprisingly, that’d be the cheapest part of the suit. A high-end synthesizer would cost $1,000.
