Moving to a new area? Your Medicare plan may need to change.

When you relocate to a new county or state, your current Medicare Advantage or prescription drug plan may no longer be available or may have different provider networks.

A move can qualify you for a Special Enrollment Period, allowing you to change plans outside of the Annual Enrollment Period.

Before or after your move, it’s important to review:
✔ Doctor and hospital networks
✔ Prescription coverage
✔ Plan availability in your new area

If you or a loved one are relocating, it’s a good idea to review your Medicare coverage to avoid gaps or unexpected costs.
