As a mother, my fundamental rights to ensure the safety and wellbeing of my son, Nathaniel Lyn, have been denied multiple times. Despite repeated requests, I have not been allowed to secure a physical wellness check to confirm that my son is safe. No parent should ever be prevented from seeking protection and clarity regarding their child’s welfare.

I urge the public and all community leaders to help raise awareness about the urgent need for effective, transparent, and accountable systems for investigating cases involving s*x trafficking, s*xual assault, and hate crimes. These are not matters that can be dismissed, delayed, or ignored.

It is important to emphasize that our religious leaders must do the right thing according to the teachings of the Bible. They are called to be channels of reconciliation, compassion, and truth guiding our community toward healing, accountability, and the correction of harmful behaviors in our society. Our faith demands integrity, courage, and a commitment to protect the vulnerable, not to remain silent in moments of injustice.

It is essential that every member of law enforcement, including Sergeant D. Shin, Badge 657, and the Watch Commander, recognize the seriousness of these situations. Every officer has a responsibility to uphold the law, protect vulnerable individuals, and take every parent’s concern with the utmost respect and diligence.

I want to share an update regarding my efforts to seek help and visibility for the situation involving my son, whose safety and well-being remain my highest priority. Yesterday, November 24, 2025, I visited Telemundo 52 in Los Angeles, California, in hopes of speaking with a reporter who could guide or support me in finding an investigative journalist experienced in human trafficking cases.

I tried to reach the reporter Lina more than five times, but each time I was placed on hold for over ten minutes. This left me feeling extremely concerned and wondering why it has been so difficult to speak with a reporter about my son Nathaniel Lyn’s situation. It is heartbreaking to face so many obstacles when I am simply seeking help, attention, and an investigation into this urgent and important matter affecting both my son and me. I am asking for support so that this story can be properly reviewed and taken seriously. The reporter I approached, Lina, was unable to provide me with access or a meeting at that moment.

I am respectfully asking for assistance in connecting with any investigative reporter, particularly someone with experience in human trafficking or exploitation, who can help review my son’s situation and direct me to the proper resources. This is an extremely difficult time for me as a mother, and I am doing everything I can to bring attention to the matter through appropriate channels.

I also kindly ask members of the community, advocates, and relevant organizations to help me reach out to Telemundo 52 or any media outlet that may be able to provide guidance or support. My son is a young adult and may not fully understand the risks of certain individuals or situations around him, which is why I am deeply concerned for his safety.

While in Australia, I visited the Seven Network to request assistance in connecting with an investigative journalist. Although the staff were kind, they informed me that they are not able to cover this type of story.

I am urgently seeking the support of any investigative reporter,specifically one who specializes in human trafficking, exploitation, or organized crime, who can help investigate my son’s case and ensure his safety. This situation is critical, and I am asking for help from any media professional, organization, or advocate with experience in s*x trafficking investigations.

have no idea who is behind the horrible mistreatment affecting my son, Nathaniel Lyn, and me. What I do know is that my son appears to be extremely confused and vulnerable, and I am deeply worried that certain individuals may be influencing him in harmful ways. As his mother, it is heartbreaking to see him in this state, and I fear that he may not fully understand the danger around him.

I want to bring attention to a deeply troubling experience I had when I attempted to speak with a reporter from KABC-TV about my son, Nathaniel Lyn, who I believe is a victim of s*x trafficking, and my urgent concerns for his safety.

When I arrived at the KABC-TV station, two security staff members, identified to me as John Nieto and Romulo Loyola, did not allow me the opportunity to speak with a reporter or present the information I believe is critical for public awareness and proper investigation. Instead, I felt dismissed, disrespected, and treated with prejudice from the moment I arrived. I was also concerned when one of the staff members took a video of me and photographed my driver’s license. I still do not know why this was done or how that information will be used or stored.

My intention was, and continues to be to request investigative attention on serious concerns I have regarding my son’s wellbeing, including the possibility that he may be the victim of exploitation. I have repeatedly attempted to bring these concerns to various authorities and organizations, and I am simply asking for transparency, fairness, and protection for my son.
I want to be very clear:
I am not accusing any individual or institution of confirmed wrongdoing. I am requesting an independent, thorough investigation because the patterns, behaviors, and barriers I have encountered are alarming, and I fear for my son’s safety.

It is painful and confusing to experience these obstacles while trying to protect my child. I have lived in the state of Nevada for nearly 27 years, serving my community as a Christian leader and as a senior mortgage professional. I have always stood for integrity, honesty, and justice.

Today, I ask for the following:

For KABC-TV to review the conduct of the security staff involved and clarify why I was denied the opportunity to speak with a reporter.

Today, November 24, 2025, I visited Light of Christ Church and had the opportunity to meet Rev. Jim Boyd in person. Although he was not able to assist me immediately, he advised me to write a letter and send it to him by email. I will prepare that letter and send it to the email address he provided.

Rev. Boyd also mentioned that with the Thanksgiving holiday this week, it may not be possible to address anything right away.

My name is Guadalupe Lyn, and I am making this statement to raise awareness about a deeply concerning situation involving my son, Nathaniel Lyn, and the obstacles I have faced while seeking assistance.

In recent days and today, November 24, 2025, I attempted to file a police report with the Irvine Police Department regarding serious concerns for the safety and well-being of my son and myself. Unfortunately, Officer Miljan Rakic refused to allow me to file the report. My concerns were not acknowledged or validated, even after I explained the urgent nature of the situation.

I expressed to Officer Rakic that I believe my son and I are in danger. I shared information based on what many experts know: victims of s*x trafficking often do not feel safe reaching out to law enforcement or government agencies because of fear, manipulation, intimidation, and psychological control. These tactics prevent victims, especially young and vulnerable individuals, including college students from seeking help.

I am heartbroken and deeply troubled by the question: Why would anyone target my son? Any form of exploitation, coercion, or abuse is a violation of human rights, dignity, and constitutional protections.

I am calling on President Donald Trump, members of Congress, the House of Representatives, and the public to stand with me and help ensure the safe return of my son, Nathaniel Lyn.

I am also concerned that these officers refused my request to file a report. This raises serious questions about potential bias, racist,discrimination, stereotyping, corruption, and abuse of power. Families of potential trafficking victims should never be dismissed or mischaracterized. Trafficking organizations often try to discredit family members by framing them as unstable. This harmful tactic should never influence the response of law enforcement.

I respectfully ask for support, prayers, and urgent attention to this matter. My only goal is to bring my son home safely and ensure that his rights, and the rights of all victims are protected.
