They say money doesn’t change people, it just reveals them. Lately I’ve been reminded how true that is. Taking advantage of your parents, especially when they’re heading into retirement and every dollar counts, says everything about a person’s character. Parents should be able to rest easy in their later years, not worry about who’s trying to take from them. Protect your parents. Honor them. That’s what family is supposed to be. 🙏

I hate seeing so many people struggling right now. Bills are up, work is uncertain, and a lot of us are just trying to get through the week. 💙

But here’s something I keep coming back to: look at the free time you DO have and use some of it to learn a new skill. Something that can help you week to week, or maybe even change your entire life.

Now let me be real with you. Everyone is looking for a quick fix, and there isn’t one. No matter what you choose, there’s going to be some studying involved. And I can’t do that part for you. Nobody can. 🤷‍♀️

The good news? So much of it is FREE: YouTube, your local library, community college programs, online courses. Whether it’s a trade, coding, bookkeeping, a healthcare certification, or a side gig, the resources are out there. You just have to put in the time.

Even 30 minutes a day adds up faster than you think. Six months from now, you’ll either be glad you started or wishing you had.
