Amazing how some things just never change (well maybe our appearances change, obvious to see I’ve always had a knack for looking like a goofball)
Around 15 years ago after being a small mortgage broker for 5 years, my partners and I (my brother and my wife) made the decision to grow Alderus. My plan was to help Realtors and LO’s work less and earn more. The strategy was to educate, coach, and freely give away what we learned.
One of the first workshops I ever did was a Time Management and CRM workshop.
Yesterday in preparing for the Mullin/Blankfeld monthly team meeting where the topic was how to change the game with time management and technology, I came to the stark realization that the “Fundamentals” never change. At first I was just going to do what I do most of the time and roll without a presentation, but as I dug around in my old files to piece together what I thought would be most impactful I found my old PowerPoint from back in the day. I dusted it off, updated it, and was shocked that it was nearly 100% relevant even after all these years. The tools, ideologies and overall message was unchanged.
Thanks Matt Matthew Mullin (and Harvey too) for the opportunity to share what I have learned over the years with your killer group of agents. It reminded me that we might think things have come a long way in 15 years but at the end of the day, people are still people and we tend to struggle with the same things year in and year out even as time marches on.
