Trying to fix your entire financial life all at once is one of the fastest ways to fix nothing at all. 👀

Financial planning works more like improving your health than solving a math problem. You do not lose 30 pounds in a day. You build one good habit, then another.

The same is true with wealth. Find the highest impact opportunity right now and focus there. Taxes. Business exit. Estate planning. Consistent saving. Whatever matters most at this stage.

And then revisit. Because life changes and your plan should change with it. 🙏

Can you actually dial your cash balance plan contributions up or down based on how the business is doing? With the right design, yes. 👀

Hear from Richard Cromwick, ERPA, on how a two-year planning window and a smart formula structure give business owners real flexibility without sacrificing the benefits of the plan.

By pre-funding the first year’s benefit and building a beginning account balance into the formula, the contribution requirement in year two is naturally lower. That cushion is not an accident. It is built into the design intentionally so the plan works with income fluctuations rather than against them.

Proactive planning is what makes the difference. 🙏

Real estate syndications give everyday investors access to deals that would otherwise be out of reach. The trade-offs are real and worth understanding before you get in. 👀

The upside is scale and access. Large commercial properties, passive income, and exposure to markets most individual investors could never enter alone.

The downside is control and sponsor risk. Once you are in, decisions are made for you. And the person making those decisions matters just as much as the property itself.

You are investing in the operator as much as the deal. Make sure you know who that is. 🙏

The business might be great. The owner just cannot answer basic financial questions about it. That is more common than most people realize. 👀

Hear from Trent Lee on the friction that shows up between buyers and sellers when financial records were never properly tracked.

Running a business off bank account balance works until someone wants to buy it. Then the questions start and the frustration follows. Buyers need documentation. Sellers who never tracked anything get annoyed fast.

That tension is not a buyer problem. It is a preparation problem. One that starts years before any conversation about selling. 🙏

A lot of people discover health share plans when they are looking for a way to lower their monthly health costs. The savings can be real. So can the risks. 👀

Health sharing is not insurance. It is a community-based model where there is no legal guarantee that your claims will be paid. No regulatory protection. No standardized coverage requirements.

For some people in the right situation, it works well. For others, the gap between what they expected and what was actually covered becomes a very expensive surprise.

Cheaper is not the same as equivalent. Understand what you are giving up before you sign up. 🙏

Two misconceptions about captive insurance are keeping a lot of business owners from ever exploring one of the most powerful tools available to them. 👀

Hear from Ed Bryan about what he most often hears in conversations with CPAs, financial advisors, and business owners.

The first is that you have to be a large business for it to make sense. That belief filters out plenty of business owners who would genuinely benefit before they ever get a chance to look at the numbers.

The second is that captives automatically trigger audits. When done correctly that simply has not been the reality. But the perception alone is enough to stop many advisors from bringing it to their clients at all.

The decision about whether to explore it should belong to the business owner. Not to the advisor’s personal risk tolerance. 🙏

Most people think financial planning starts with investments. After 30 years, I am convinced it actually starts with questions. 👀

What do you want retirement to look like? What worries you most about money? How much is enough for you?

Two families with identical net worth can need completely different plans depending on their goals. Retiring tomorrow. Buying a business. Building a legacy. Spending it all.

Without understanding where someone is actually trying to go, any recommendation is just educated guessing.

Better advice starts with better questions. 🙏

One unexpected lawsuit can put an entire real estate portfolio at risk. 🏘️
In this clip, Toby Mathis shares a powerful real-life story showing why asset protection is as important as building wealth.

Owning multiple properties doesn’t automatically mean your wealth is protected. The right legal structure, including properly established LLCs, can help isolate risk and protect other assets when something goes wrong.

💡 The key takeaway? Don’t just focus on what you stand to gain. Understand what you could lose—and plan accordingly.

Build wealth strategically. Protect it intentionally.

Naming your beneficiaries is not the last step. There is a second decision most people do not even know exists. 👀
Per stirpes means a deceased beneficiary’s share passes to their children. Lapse means it gets split among whoever is left.

Same account. Completely different outcome depending on which one is in place.

Most people have never made this election. Check yours before it matters. 🙏
