🚨 Elon Musk says has secured the “last critical piece of the spectrum puzzle” for Starlink Mobile.

The nationwide 800 MHz spectrum could help improve indoor coverage and make it easier for Starlink to connect phones across more areas of the US.

This could be an important step in SpaceX’s push to expand beyond satellite internet and compete more directly in the wireless market.

The big question now is how far Starlink Mobile can go in challenging traditional carriers. 👀

🚨 just delivered another strong quarter.

TSMC’s Q3 revenue jumped 51% YoY to NT$1.49 trillion, beating the NT$1.46 trillion estimate. September revenue alone hit NT$511.86 billion, up 54.6% from a year ago.

The numbers keep showing how strong AI chip demand remains.

And this is before TSMC reports full Q3 earnings and gives its next outlook on October 15.

AI demand is still looking very strong. 👀

🚨 is seeing a much bigger AI opportunity than it did just a couple years ago.

Marvell now sees the AI market reaching roughly $400B by 2030, compared with the $94B opportunity it projected for 2028.

The customer side is interesting too. ’s six-year, $120B deal could potentially add around $18B annually, while ’s $2B investment gives Marvell another connection into the GPU ecosystem.

If AI infrastructure keeps expanding at this pace, Marvell could be sitting in a pretty interesting spot. 👀

🇯🇵 is making parts of its residency system tougher and more expensive for foreigners.

New and proposed measures include higher residency-related fees, stricter screening and greater emphasis on things like income and Japanese-language ability for certain residency pathways.

One detail getting a lot of attention is the huge increase in some immigration fees compared with the old system.

But the viral claim that every foreigner must now earn above Japan’s average income and speak Japanese well is too broad. The requirements depend on the type of residence status or application.

Japan is clearly moving toward tighter immigration rules, and these changes could make the country a more expensive and demanding place for some to settle.

🚨 just introduced a new 64GB DGX Spark for $4,999, giving developers another option for local AI workloads using the same GB10 Grace Blackwell chip.

The interesting part is the pricing.

You’re getting half the memory of the original 128GB system for 25% more and you’d need two units to get back to 128GB.

With also reportedly reducing AI5 memory and pointing to tight memory supply through 2028, the memory side of AI hardware is becoming increasingly important.

The deal is now valued at $5.7B in cash, with Onsemi paying $123 per share, down from the roughly $7B valuation announced in June.

The lower price cuts Onsemi’s acquisition cost by about $1.3B.

Onsemi also expects:
• Immediate non-GAAP EPS accretion at closing
• More than $200M in annual run-rate synergies
• Closing still targeted for mid-2027
