Celebrating my anniversary with Farmers Insurance today, I reflect on the remarkable journey that began 41 years ago when Steve Gross took a chance on a 21-year-old college student.

Steve Gross, my District Manager who hired me, provided me with the foundation I needed to excel. Rick McKelvey, my other District Manager who took over when Steve took a district in Tucson, offered invaluable mentorship.

Alongside him was Richard McEneny, my office partner, was both a former agent and District Manager, played a pivotal role in my early career. I consider myself fortunate to have been one of the first protégé agents in a program that didn’t yet exist, thanks to the guidance of these exceptional mentors. All three were Presidents Council DMs.

Each of them contributed significantly to my professional growth, and I truly wouldn’t be where I am today without their support. I still keep in touch with these three gentlemen to this day.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the management team at Farmers Insurance for believing in me and for the incredible opportunities afforded to me throughout my career. The life I’ve built and the successes I’ve achieved all stem from my time with Farmers Insurance, and I am deeply appreciative of this journey!

Huge Congratulations to Annittra of Albuquerque for winning this title, All of New Mexico is very proud of you!! Although this was in 2015 I wanted to acknowledge your title and that you know you are a role model!

Annittra Atler is a UNM graduate with a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. Annittra is currently an Elementary Principal with the ABQ Public School system!
