Application for new Ingham County grant funding for Critical/Emergent Housing and Homeless Services is now live and accepting applications! Download the RFP and access the application here: https://tr.ingham.org/departments_and_officials/treasurer/housing_trust_fund.php

Through a single application, applicants may select one of two funding pathways:

1. Competitive Funding Round for Critical Housing and Homeless Services: Applications received by October 15, 2026, at 11:59 PM will be considered through the competitive funding process.
Maximum Award: Up to $400,000 per project
Eligible Funding Period: Up to 24 months
Earliest Funding Availability: January 2027

2. Emergent Needs Funding for Critical Housing and Homeless Services: Applications addressing Emergent Needs may be submitted for consideration before the competitive funding round deadline and on an early/rolling basis, subject to the availability of reserved funds.
Maximum Award: Less than $100,000 per project
Review: Applications will be considered on an early/ongoing basis outside of the competitive funding round
Eligible Funding Period: Projects must expend all awarded funds within 6 months
Earliest Funding Availability: December 2026 – until reserved funds are committed. Applications to be reviewed within 15 business days of submission.

For our last summer series event, we’ll be hosting a Community Housing Panel next Wednesday. Join us to hear from local organizations and nonprofits that serve our community in housing-related ways, including:

We’ll be asking candidates prepared questions as well as audience questions, so bring your ideas and curiosity.
