On Wednesday, Cinnaire joined our partner Homes For America in Baltimore to welcome staff members from the Maryland Congressional delegation for a tour of Clare Court, a highly impactful project that combines affordable housing preservation and new construction to help meet the urgent need for affordable housing in Baltimore. After initially renovating an underutilized convent building in 2004, the new phase of Clare Court brings 53 new affordable homes by adding 12 new units to the convent building and 41 new units in a new three-story building that will welcome new residents at the beginning of September.

In a special moment, Sister Patricia Nightingale, a resident of the Convent building and one of the two remaining Sisters from the Sisters of Francis of Assisi that live at Clare Court, shared the history of the building, their work to support Baltimore residents, and their pride in ensuring that the Sisters’ legacy of service will live on at Clare Court.

Clare Court represents what can happen when mission-driven partners work together and leverage critically needed federal resources, including the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit, Project-Based Rental Assistance, and the Capital Magnet Fund. We also discussed the recently enacted 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act. We are grateful to representatives from the offices of Senator Van Hollen, Senator Alsobrooks, and Congressman Kweisi Mfume for joining us to learn about the project and help us expand our impact.

Our work is rooted in community, and so is our culture.

One of the perks of working in the heart of Detroit is having Comerica Park right across the street! Our team recently took advantage of it with a trip to the ballpark to cheer on the Tigers and spend time together. A little baseball, a lot of laughs, and a great way to connect as a team while enjoying the community we're proud to be a part of. 🐯⚾

We were proud to stand alongside U.S. Senator Lisa Blunt Rochester (D-DE) yesterday at an event celebrating the enactment of the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act. Hosted at Imani Village by our partner The WRK Group, the event highlighted what this landmark legislation will mean for Delaware.

Cinnaire's Chris Neary spoke about the impact of the bipartisan Community Investment and Prosperity Act, which Senator Blunt Rochester sponsored and became law as part of the ROAD to Housing Act. According to the Affordable Housing Tax Credit Coalition, this legislation will help unlock billions more investment in the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program.

"Where we stand today at Imani Village is a testament to what can happen when we invest in our communities. But the reality is that our country is not investing nearly enough to keep up with the demand for affordable housing. We are grateful to Senator Blunt Rochester for her leadership in helping us increase investment in our communities."

Cinnaire CEO Mark McDaniel recently spent time at the Strikeout Baseball youth clinic, sharing his lifelong love of the game with the next generation of players. Mark brought along his first baseball glove, a special keepsake passed down from his grandfather to his father and then to him and reflected on the lessons baseball taught him growing up.

At Cinnaire, we're proud to support Strikeout Baseball and its mission to foster a love of the game while instilling teamwork, discipline, integrity and sportsmanship. By creating opportunities for young people to learn, play and grow, Strikeout Baseball is helping shape confident leaders, strengthen communities and inspire the next generation, both on and off the field. ⚾

When community banks invest locally, they help create opportunities that strengthen neighborhoods.

This week, we welcomed leaders from First National Bank of Michigan, Eaton Community Bank, and the Michigan Bankers Association for a tour of Grand Vista Place and Riverview 220. Together, these two communities provide nearly 100 affordable homes for individuals and families in Michigan's capital city.

We're grateful for our longstanding partnership with the Michigan Bankers Association and the community banks that invest alongside Cinnaire to help expand affordable housing opportunities across Michigan. Visits like these are a great reminder of what we can accomplish together.

Thank you to our banking partners for your continued investment. Together, we're expanding housing opportunities and building stronger communities.
