Sis, let's talk about how I'm pulling off this Military Influencer Conference without touching my regular budget 👀✈️

Here's the breakdown:

💳 Flights: I've been stacking American Airlines () miles for a minute. Used them for two one-way tickets and only paid taxes, $5.60 x 2. We're talking $11-12 total for airfare.

🏨 Hotel: Used my Chase Sapphire points (), that has a $250 rebate to book two nights at the conference hotel through the travel portal. Final cost? $13.

That's flights AND a hotel for under $25 out of pocket. The only thing left on my list is ground transportation and meals while I'm there.

We're starting something new and I'm WAY too excited about it 👀Introducing: WHERE'S DARLA? — our new series where we play Where's Waldo with yours truly and show you what Big Sis is really out here doing in the community.

This week's stop? Washington, D.C. 🇺🇸 We filmed at the Library of Congress and the US Capitol to film something I can't wait to show y'all.

Here's the thing, Sis, building FinanSis isn't just posting mantras and homework assignments. It's showing up in rooms, having real conversations, and doing the work that actually moves the needle on financial literacy for our community. This project is a big part of that.

It's only 90 DAYS until Christmas, which means it's officially "get your money together" season.

❌ Not "put it on the card" season.

90 days is enough time to build a real Christmas fund from scratch if you start now. If you start putting away $35–$50 every week starting today, you’ll have several hundred dollars tucked away by December 1st. That means buying gifts in cash, taking advantage of Black Friday sales, and zero credit card hangovers in January.
