Two years ago, Hurricane Helene affected our community in ways we will never forget. In the midst of devastation and uncertainty, we came together.
Neighbors helped neighbors. First responders, city crews, linemen, businesses, churches, organizations, and volunteers worked side by side. We cleared roads, shared supplies, checked on one another, and did whatever was needed to help our community begin to recover.
Two years later, we remember not only the damage Helene left behind, but the strength, compassion, and resilience that rose in its wake.
When our community was tested, we showed exactly who we are….neighbors helping neighbors, standing together, and taking care of our own.
We remember. We are grateful. We remain Landrum Strong. ❤️
