We want to bring your attention to a concerning scam that has been affecting our communities & our members: the unpaid toll scam text. Scammers are sending fraudulent messages to individuals, claiming they owe money for unpaid tolls and directing them to fake payment sites. These messages are designed to steal personal and financial information and can appear very convincing.
Legitimate toll agencies will never request payment via text message. If you receive such messages, you should not click on any links and report the scam to the appropriate authorities immediately.
Let's work together to protect you and keep our credit union safe from fraud.
