Nanny and Pappy Gant sowed the seeds that grew into Gant Family Insurance Group (GFIG). When the time came for them to transition from this Earth to their forever Heavenly home, they were ready. Back in the day there were insurance guys that would come around the neighborhood offering final expense and other life insurance to people. By the grace of GOD, Nanny and Pappy were wise enough to take them up on their offer. Though they never were very wealthy in terms of this world, they knew the value of what they were purchasing. It was more than an insurance policy. They were preparing for the future and protecting us from some potential future pain. I have seen and been part of many families' go fund me crusades to raise money to burry a loved one. The thought is heart breaking, but the experienceeven more so. It's a different feeling planning a funeral or in Nanny's case, a celebration service when the bill is already covered. I had the honor of being a part of Nanny's home going party planning committee. It took place during the COVID-19 quarantine, so there were A LOT of restrictions, to include a very limited number of people allowed into the funeral home to discuss the event. The service ended up being a beautiful experience even though it could have been a devastating disaster. Thankfully Nanny had already planned out many of the things she wanted and we just got to add in some extra details. Nanny's greatest desire was/is for her whole family to come to know and serve our Lord Jesus Christ. At Gant Family Insurance Group, our desire is to serve you as we serve Christ (Ephesians 6:7). We are offering an invitation, not only to be served by us, but to join our Forever Family as we Protect, Save and Grow together for the Glory of the King.
