Let’s talk about bundling discounts. When you bundle your home and auto with the same company you typically get a discount. That isn’t always the best deal! Sometimes the savings is greater by using different companies for your home and auto. Have your agent check! I recently had a customer go from $1167 for 6 months for car insurance to $328. Or $194.50 a month to $54.67 by using Auto Owners for their homeowners insurance and Progressive for their auto insurance. (The husbands response when we were on the phone was WOW! 😂)

Let’s talk about flood policies. A flood policy is required if you have a mortgage and live in a flood zone. If you do not have a mortgage or do not live in a flood plane you probably haven’t thought about it….until now. The severe weather and rainfall has caused some panic, which is understandable. Keep in mind, there is a 30 day wait period for a flood policy to be issued.
