Let’s talk about flood policies. A flood policy is required if you have a mortgage and live in a flood zone. If you do not have a mortgage or do not live in a flood plane you probably haven’t thought about it….until now. The severe weather and rainfall has caused some panic, which is understandable. Keep in mind, there is a 30 day wait period for a flood policy to be issued.
