Meet Yaya Chavarria-Mondragon, OTD! 💙

Please join us in welcoming Yaya Chavarria-Mondragon to Prowers Medical Center! A bilingual occupational therapist, she is passionate about helping patients of all ages achieve milestones, reach their goals and return to the activities that matter most.

Originally from Hood River, Oregon, Yaya earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Utah in 2026. Her clinical experience includes acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, school-based occupational therapy and outpatient pediatrics.

She is especially passionate about supporting the Spanish-speaking community and making health education more accessible to patients and families.
