80 years ago, something special kicked off right here in North Dakota!

On April 16, 1946, Nodak Insurance Company (originally Nodak Mutual Insurance Company) was born in Fargo, thanks to the North Dakota Farm Bureau and a mission: to help farmers and ranchers with protection they could count on.

It all started with just $500 from 100 members.

What a humble beginning—with a purpose that still guides us today!

80 years later, that purpose is stronger than ever.

The Easter Bunny has been non-renewed due to excessive claims.

❌ Too many broken eggs

Mother Nature checked the calendar and said, “You know what? Let’s make it interesting.”

So today we’re working remotely. Phones are forwarded, and we’re fully available — just handling your insurance needs from a slightly less snowy location.

Call the office like normal and we’ll get you taken care of.

If you’re heading out, just remember:
• Cruise control is not your friend today.
• The ditch is not conducting interviews.
• And “I’ve driven in worse” are famous last words.

Instead, I was handed a TV remote and a stuffed animal.

Presidents’ Day = Father-Daughter Day at our house. 🇺🇸

Office closed. Coverage still working.

Uff-da… this cabinet meeting may require popcorn and a certain someone playing Roblox on my phone (if someone could explain this game to me that would be great).

Nelson County Farm Bureau is proud to offer three $1,000 scholarships to support local high school students continuing their education. Applications are now being accepted, and eligible students are encouraged to apply!
