Rising inflation, escalating geopolitical uncertainty and the Federal Reserve’s actions are driving rates higher and weakening consumers’ purchasing power. There’s no rule that says you have to spend the maximum amount. Even if you are able to make the monthly payments, it could cost you in:

* College fund savings
* Paying off credit card debt
* Vacation/fun spending
