E-bikes, scooters and other motorized devices are growing in popularity — and with that comes a reminder to know where they can and cannot be used in Lakeville.

Under City ordinance, certain motorized vehicles and devices are not allowed on sidewalks, trails or other public areas unless specifically permitted. That includes things like motorized scooters, mini-bikes, go-karts and similar devices. E-bikes may be allowed in some areas depending on the type and how they are being used, but riders are still expected to follow traffic laws, ride safely and be respectful of pedestrians and other trail users.

Please remember: sidewalks and trails are shared spaces, not personal racetracks — even if your e-bike does make you feel like you’re in the Tour de France. 🚴‍♀️💨🤣

Help keep Lakeville safe and enjoyable for everyone by slowing down, yielding to pedestrians, watching for children and pets, and knowing the rules before you ride.

FARMINGTON, Minn. – The No. 1 seeded Farmington Tigers punched their ticket to the Section 1 Class AA Boys Hockey championship game for the first time since 2016 with a 3-2 overtime victory over No. 4 seeded New Prague on Saturday night at Schmitz-Maki Arena in front of a sellout crowd.

FARMINGTON, Minn. – The MSHSL Section 1 Class AA Boys Hockey Tournament bracket has been released, and the Farmington Tigers have earned the No. 1 overall seed heading into postseason play.

Known for bone-shaking body checks, clutch big-time goals, and shutting things down when it mattered most. Mason sets the standard at practice, leads by example, and shows his teammates what commitment and toughness look like.

His impact goes far beyond the stat sheet. He will leave big shoes to fill, but an even bigger legacy.
