The Blue Ribbon Dinner was a success! Thank you to the Lake County Fair for allowing us the opportunity to cater this event! We were proud to highlight Lake County’s agricultural industry through the w**e competition and by honoring the Scully family for their longstanding presence and contributions to our community.

A huge thank you to all of our volunteers who always show up and make this event possible. We truly couldn’t have done it without the help and support from the Suenram, Tredway, and Brooks families!

If you enjoyed tonight’s dinner, don’t forget that we’re also cooking tomorrow’s Buyer’s Breakfast! Come on down to support our local FFA and 4-H members and celebrate their hard work and dedication. We hope to see you there!

It’s fair time in Lake County! Don’t forget to stop by the Lake County Fair this weekend!

Join us September 5th at 12pm for the Junior Livestock Auction!

We’ll be busy preparing for the Buyer’s Breakfast and the Blue Ribbon Dinner, but most importantly, we hope you’ll come down and show your support for our local youth!

These kids have poured countless hours of hard work, dedication, and love into their market projects, and tomorrow is their chance to showcase all they’ve accomplished.

Come out, cheer them on, and support the next generation of agriculture!

The Lake County Fair is coming up! We’ve had many visits from FFA and 4-H students.

We’ll be catering the Junior Livestock Auction Buyer’s Breakfast on Saturday, September 5th, from 9:30–11:30 a.m. New buyer registration will be available from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Be sure to stop by the Farm Bureau office and check out all of the amazing buyer letters from our local 4-H and FFA students! We love having the opportunity to showcase their hard work and dedication!

Lake County Farm Bureau is proud to support the Lake County Board of Supervisors in advocating for wage parity between sheep and goat herders.

This is an issue Farm Bureau has been working on because California’s livestock producers deserve a fair and practical wage structure that recognizes the important role both sheep and goat herders play in our agricultural industry.

We appreciate the Board of Supervisors for joining us in bringing attention to this issue and supporting our local agricultural community.

We encourage our state legislators to recognize the importance of maintaining wage parity for sheep and goat herders.

How can you help? Call your state legislators and urge them to support wildfire prevention by amending the law to bring back and extend the provisions for goat herders.

We had a wonderful evening at our Annual Business Meeting!

Thank you to all of our members, directors, and guests who joined us for a great night of connection, conversation, and community. We enjoyed a delicious potluck dinner, caught up with fellow members, and heard a great presentation from California Farm Bureau Chief Operating Officer, Dan Durheim.
