On Sunday, December 17, 2023, our family enjoyed celebrating Deacon Robert Fields’ Day with the First Baptist Institutional Church family. It was set aside as annual day to honor our father’s long standing diligent and faithful service to the Lord through the church.

On Wednesday, December 20, the Lord chose to call him to his heavenly home. We had just spent a routine Tuesday evening with him and were not prepared for his passing the next morning. He began his morning as he normally did and passed away just as he finished getting dressed.
