Leon Gillespie, a 26 year old man, was arrested and fined after climbing onto the roof of a hospital in North Wales while dressed in a black hooded outfit to stare down at patients, staff, and visitors. The incident occurred when Gillespie scaled the building, brandished what appeared to be a long blade or scythe, and made loud, crow like noises from above the main entrance for nearly an hour. The bizarre stunt triggered a large emergency response, drawing four police cars and fire service vehicles to safely bring him down.

🚨Another FBI Most Wanted Fraudster CAPTURED

“This Most Wanted Fraudster allegedly obtained tens of millions in COVID-19 relief, stealing critical resources from legitimate businesses during a national crisis,” said Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche. “She fled the country believing she could escape justice but ultimately could not. Those who exploit taxpayer-funded programs will be held accountable by this Department of Justice, no matter how long it takes or where they attempt to hide.”

🚨 AMBUSH IN DAVIE? Detectives say a masked teenage girl lured a victim to a neighborhood meeting before a violent attack escalated into gunfire.

According to a Davie Police arrest affidavit, Valerie Lisette Gonzalez, 19, is accused of orchestrating an attack that investigators say began with Instagram messages and ended with an attempted murder investigation.

Detectives allege the victim was contacted through an Instagram account and invited to meet up around 8:30 p.m. on July 22, 2025. Believing they were simply going to get something to eat, the victim walked to a nearby vehicle with another person.

Police say that as the passenger door opened, an unknown masked male suspect suddenly exited the vehicle and repeatedly punched one of the victims in the face and head.

Moments later, investigators allege Valerie Gonzalez, wearing ripped jeans, a dark hoodie, and a ski mask, approached while armed with a handgun. According to the affidavit, the victim recognized Gonzalez by her voice, body shape, and prior interactions despite the mask.

Detectives say Gonzalez asked the victim, “Do you want to talk about my dead boyfriend?” before allegedly striking the victim in the head with the firearm.

As the victims attempted to flee, investigators allege Gonzalez pointed the handgun and fired a shot in their direction. One victim told detectives they believed they were about to be killed.

The investigation also alleges the attack was partially recorded on a cellphone by one of the suspects, who later sent part of the video to the victim.

During the investigation, detectives say witnesses identified Gonzalez in a photo lineup. Investigators also allege Gonzalez later sent Instagram messages stating:

“So I reacted crazy I’m fu**ed up mentally…”

and later,

“If I killed her… I just taught her a lesson.”

Those statements are included in the arrest affidavit and form part of the probable cause described by investigators.

Gonzalez is charged with:

* Attempted First-Degree Murder with a Firearm (while wearing a mask)
* Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm in Public (while wearing a mask)
* Aggravated Battery with a Firearm (while wearing a mask)

As with all criminal cases, these are allegations contained in an arrest affidavit. The defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
