This week our farmers favorite thought leader and author passed away. We will leave you with a few quotes from the one and only, Wendell Berry.

"Why do farmers farm, given their economic adversities on top of the many frustrations and difficulties normal to farming? And always the answer is: 'Love. They must do it for love.'"

"The soil is the great connector of lives, the source and destination of all. It is the healer and restorer and resurrector, by which disease passes into health, age into youth, death into life."

Are your familiar with any of Wendell Berry’s writings?
