For nearly 20 years, Steve Ehlmann has been the most powerful elected official in St. Charles County. During that time, residents repeatedly raised concerns about apartment overdevelopment, traffic congestion, and the strain on our infrastructure.

I support O'Fallon's apartment moratorium because it's time to listen to residents and start putting our communities first.

This campaign is about what role our government should have in continuing to operate entertainment venues at a loss and Steve Ehlmann wasting millions of our tax dollars on entities that will be better run by private enterprise. Period.

Steve did so much for first responders. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this time. May he rest in Peace.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Steve Holley, longtime Executive Director of Budweiser Guns 'N Hoses.

Steve dedicated much of his life to supporting the mission of Guns 'N Hoses and The BackStoppers, helping raise millions of dollars to assist the families of fallen first responders throughout our community. His leadership, friendship, and commitment to others left an immeasurable impact on our organization and on countless lives across the St. Louis region.

On behalf of the entire Guns 'N Hoses family, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the entire Holley family.

At the request of the family, we ask that their privacy be respected during this difficult time.

For too long, career politicians have allowed others to reshape St. Charles County while ignoring the concerns of the people who live here. The result has been more congestion, more overdevelopment, and more frustration from residents who simply want to protect their communities. St. Charles County needs leadership that acts before problems become crises, not politicians who wait until election year to admit there's a problem. The future of our county deserves proactive leadership, not reactive politics.
