Stocks finished the third quarter mixed. The S&P 500 gained 2.03%, and the Nasdaq Composite rose 2.47%, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped 2.70%. Halloween is next on the calendar, with U.S. consumers expected to spend \$13.5 billion USD this year and 6.26 million Canadian children in their trick-or-treating years.

Stocks were mixed in the third quarter as economic, geopolitical, and corporate earnings news pushed the broad market higher while weighing on the Dow Industrials.

If you’re interested in helping, these are some of the current needs for the residents and pantry. There are plenty of ways to contribute, and every donation makes a difference.

Our office is now accepting donations through the day of the event — Wednesday, November 4th.

You can drop off your donations ahead of time at our Pentangle Wealth office, or bring it with you when you join us for lunch on November 4th from 11:00 AM–1:00 PM.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

In honor of the lives lost and those who made the ultimate sacrifice on 9/11, a small team from our office and one of our partners — Dean, Frank, and Ryan — walked several miles around Hermann Park carrying 45-pound packs.

A small gesture of remembrance for the tremendous weight carried by those who ran toward danger to save others.
