This past week was National Houseplant Day. 🪴 This little guy is in our office at Conroy State Farm. In spite of the new flower, it does not look all that happy. 🥹

In my Wisconsin travels this winter, I have seen some barn quilts so lovely I had to stop and take a pix. 🚗 This one is relatively local... isn't it beautiful! ❗️

This week I received a cherished letter from State Farm with congrats on my 30th year anniversary! Frequently I reflect back on my early years in agency....those were the years I had my "affair with Johnny Carson." You see, I had a tv in my office and I worked late every night, with that tv keeping me company. When the Tonight Show came on, it was time to head home. I love that memory.

I proudly celebrate 30 years as a State Farm Agent in my home state of Wisconsin and I've loved EVERY YEAR of it! But honestly ....
I miss Johnny.

Holiday time reminds us that the truest holiday gift is thankfulness for what we have and who we have in our life. One of our longtime customers recently moved out of town. They stopped in the office and asked if they could STAY with our office. "We appreciate your office and everything you have done for us over the years." "Yes of course," I replied. "We appreciate YOU."

This holiday season, remember that sharing love and appreciation is the very best gift of all. Appreciation can change everything.

The holiday season is a busy time with lots of hurrying here and there. I saw this little reminder in line in front of me picking up my pumpkin spice latte. 🥤 Ouch!
