Clearinghouse CDFI

Clearinghouse CDFI www.clearinghousecdfi.com We spend the time and energy required to find creditworthy borrowers whose projects create assets in the community.

Our Vision
At Clearinghouse CDFI we believe in providing equal access to credit in neighborhoods of all income levels and ethnicities. These borrowers, because of their unique circumstances, are rejected or not even considered by traditional lenders. Community development lending must be profitable in order to be sustained. As with conventional lenders, we carefully evaluate each applicant’s abil

ity to repay the loan. Unlike traditional lenders, we do not have predefined loan programs. We analyze each loan application individually. Every loan we make benefits the community in a measurable way.

We’re proud to be among so many organizations, like our friends at PNC, committed to creating positive change and using business as a force for good. It was a wonderful evening celebrating the people and organizations helping our community thrive!

Today, we celebrated the official start of construction at Friendly Village MHP in Long Beach, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony marking a transformational investment in affordable housing.

In 2021, Clearinghouse CDFI provided $11.175 million in financing to help preserve this 182-space, all-age affordable housing community. Now, with more than $11 million awarded through the California Department of Housing and Community Development’s Manufactured Housing Opportunity & Revitalization (MORE) Program, long-awaited infrastructure improvements are underway that will benefit residents for years to come.

Congratulations to everyone who helped make this milestone possible, including our nonprofit partners ACI Friendly Village and their project team as well as the state agencies and community leaders who made this investment a reality. We're proud to play a part in preserving safe, stable affordable housing for Long Beach families.

Last week, we celebrated another successful ‘B’ BOLD(ER) graduation—and one of the mentors who helped make this year’s program so meaningful!

Each year, ‘B’ BOLD(ER) Internship Director Susan Montoya and Internship Program Specialist Kelly Marsoobian recognize an outstanding on-site mentor as our ‘B’ BOLD(ER) Champion. This year's honor went to Trina Fleming, VP Employee Engagement, Training, & Corporate Responsibility at Lendistry.

Trina led “Boss Moves,” a professional etiquette workshop our interns consistently named as one of their favorite parts of the program. Thank you, Trina, for your outstanding mentorship and for making such a lasting impact! 👏

We're excited to celebrate an important milestone for nonprofit ACI Friendly Village in Long Beach!

Next Friday, August 14, we'll join our partners for a ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking the start of a major rehabilitation project designed to preserve and strengthen one of Long Beach's largest affordable housing communities.

Since providing $11.175 million in financing to help acquire the community in 2021, we've been proud to support a vision for long-term affordability and stability for the families who call Friendly Village MHP home. Thanks to more than $11 million in funding through the California Department of Housing and Community Development's Manufactured Housing Opportunity & Revitalization (MORE) Program, critical infrastructure improvements—including new water, sewer, electrical, and gas systems—are about to begin.

We're honored to celebrate this next chapter alongside our partners and the residents who will benefit for generations to come. Stay tuned as we share highlights from the celebration next week!

Capital is in motion in Clearwater this week!

We were honored to be part of the 2026 National Black and Latino Economic Summit, where Chief Credit Officer Kristy Ollendorff dazzled the audience during her panel, “Building Community Wealth Through Strategic Investment.”

This was a great discussion about putting capital to work where it matters most—creating stronger communities and lasting economic opportunity. We’re proud to have Kristy representing Clearinghouse CDFI and helping move the conversation forward!
