I grew up with a family of 6 with no father at home. We lived verunderstand financial hardship and defend having to live in that environment. Elsinore Valley has been my home for over 33 years. As a child, I was raised impoverished by a single mother with five siblings. Air Force and a local small business owner. I have experienced my fair share difficult times over the years as I built my busines

s from the ground up with my brother. Finally, I am father who most recently lost my 17-year-old daughter in a tragic car accident. These hard times continue to shape who I am as a person and greatly affect who I am as a leader. As your Division 2 Director for over 16 years, community leader, veteran and business owner, I bring a vast and varied level of experience to the EVMWD Board. I understand the balance of fiscal responsibly and keeping rates reasonable. I am determined to continue working diligently for this community and fighting for good quality water. Our efforts to secure grants and loans have been critical in keeping water costs manageable for everyone. But our work still needs to be completed. By maximizing our local water sources, we make significant strides toward independence from costly imported water.

I have advocated persistently for the highest level of water quality, but that is not the only quality that matters. Customer service, business operations and transparency are elements of the complex water service that MUST be prioritized.

Difficult times require leaders to think differently; to approach things with heart and conviction, not just focus on the bottom line. I am that leader and I look forward to your support.

Our city is located in a Mediterranean climate, which means water must be imported from elsewhere. Getting the best quality water to Lake Elsinore has been my priority from day one on the board.
